When Sam started College Planning Partnerships in 2003, it wasn’t just about helping students raise their scores—it was about giving them confidence to succeed both in and beyond school. He’s spent more than 20 years building a program that works, not only because it’s effective, but because it cares. Along the way, his work has been recognized by the U.S. Congress, Harvard, and hundreds of students and parents.
“There isn’t a kid who can't succeed big.”
In 2024, Sam helped launch All Girls’ Prep, a new initiative led by veteran educator Megan Fitzwater. It’s a program where young women learn from women—role models who teach with both expertise and passion. The idea grew from a simple truth Sam has believed from the start: there’s no reason high school girls should lag behind boys in math or science. With the right support, they can lead the way.
